Program Overview

The Winter Special Training Internship Program at Arch Angel Agency is designed for interns who have demonstrated proficiency in previous training programs or possess strong backgrounds in related fields. This program delves into the most specialized and advanced areas of the agency’s operations: Psi Ops and Med Ops. Interns will develop expertise in the unique fields of psionic technologies, psychological defense, biochemical countermeasures, and medical innovations. The program also includes cross-training opportunities with other divisions, ensuring a well-rounded understanding of the agency’s integrated operations.

Key Learning Areas

1. Psionic Operations (Psi Ops)

  • Advanced Psionics: Interns will explore and develop advanced psionic abilities such as remote viewing, telepathy, and empathic sensing. These skills are critical for gathering intelligence, influencing outcomes, and protecting against psychic threats.
  • Psionic Technologies: Learn about the development and application of psychotronic devices, psionic amplifiers, and neural interfaces. Interns will gain hands-on experience in building and testing these advanced technologies to enhance or protect psionic abilities.
  • Psychological Defense Strategies: Understand and implement strategies to counteract psychological operations (PsyOps) deployed by adversaries. This includes creating counter-narratives, developing cognitive defense mechanisms, and protecting operatives from psychological manipulation.

2. Medical Operations (Med Ops)

  • Biochemical Countermeasures: Gain expertise in identifying, developing, and deploying medical countermeasures against chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) threats. Interns will learn about the creation of antidotes, vaccines, and other medical interventions.
  • Psychological Resilience and Support: Learn techniques to build and maintain psychological resilience among operatives. Interns will be trained in mental health support strategies, including stress management, trauma care, and cognitive behavioral approaches.
  • Medical Technology Integration: Explore the integration of advanced medical technologies with operational needs. Interns will work with cybernetic implants, wearable medical devices, and other innovations that enhance operative health and performance in the field.

3. Cross-Training with Other Divisions

  • Integration with Cyber Ops and Tech Ops: Understand how psi and medical operations are supported by cybersecurity and technological innovations. Interns will explore how secure communication, data analysis, and technological tools are critical to Psi Ops and Med Ops missions.
  • Collaboration with Hero Ops and Dev Ops: Learn how Psi Ops and Med Ops contribute to frontline and development operations. Interns will gain insights into how psychological and medical support enhances mission success and operative well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Psionic Development Projects: Participate in the development and application of psionic technologies, including the design, testing, and deployment of devices that enhance or protect mental abilities. Interns will be involved in both theoretical research and practical implementation.
  • Medical Countermeasure Development: Engage in the research and creation of biochemical defenses, working on projects that develop antidotes, vaccines, and medical interventions for various threats. Interns will contribute to the preparation and readiness of the agency’s medical response capabilities.
  • Psychological Defense and Resilience Training: Support the development and implementation of psychological defense strategies, including the creation of counter-narratives and mental resilience programs. Interns will work with operatives to ensure they are mentally prepared for their missions.
  • Project Presentations: At the end of the internship, interns will present their project work to senior agency staff, demonstrating the skills, knowledge, and innovations they have developed during the program.

Qualifications

  • Previous Training or Experience: Completion of the Spring, Summer, and Fall Internship Programs is recommended, or equivalent experience in related fields such as psychology, neuroscience, biochemistry, or technology.
  • Technical and Analytical Aptitude: A strong understanding of psionics, medical science, or psychological operations, with the ability to engage in hands-on work and critical analysis.
  • Problem-Solving and Innovation: The ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions to complex problems in psionics, medicine, or psychological defense.
  • Collaborative and Independent Work Ethic: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently on specialized projects, contributing to team goals while also pursuing individual learning objectives.

Learning Outcomes

  • Expertise in Psionics and Psychological Defense: Develop advanced skills in psionic operations, psychological defense strategies, and the use of psionic technologies, preparing interns for specialized roles in Psi Ops.
  • Proficiency in Medical Operations and Biochemical Defense: Gain hands-on experience in medical countermeasures, psychological resilience training, and the integration of medical technologies, preparing interns for roles in Med Ops.
  • Cross-Disciplinary Integration: Understand how different divisions within the agency collaborate to achieve mission success, with a focus on the intersection of psi, medical, and operational needs.
