Program Overview
The Fall Advanced Training Internship Program at Arch Angel Agency is designed for interns who have completed basic and standard training or possess equivalent experience. This program delves into the more complex and hands-on aspects of the agency’s operations, with a specialized focus on Tech Ops and Hero Ops. Interns will engage in advanced technological development and frontline operations, gaining the skills and experience necessary to support and execute high-stakes missions. The program also offers cross-training opportunities with other divisions, ensuring that interns develop a well-rounded understanding of the agency’s integrated operations.
Key Learning Areas
1. Tech Operations (Tech Ops)
- CyberWare Development and Customization: Interns will learn to design, develop, and customize cybernetic enhancements tailored to the needs of individual operatives. This includes working with advanced materials, electronics, and biomechanics to create cutting-edge prosthetics, neural interfaces, and other enhancements.
- CyberDeck Engineering: Gain hands-on experience in building and optimizing CyberDecks—portable computing systems that are essential for field operations. Interns will learn to integrate hardware and software, ensuring that these devices are durable, secure, and capable of supporting a wide range of cyber operations.
- Technological Innovation: Engage in projects focused on developing new technologies or improving existing ones, ensuring that the agency remains at the forefront of technological advancement. Interns will work closely with the R&D team to explore emerging technologies and their potential applications in the field.
2. Hero Operations (Hero Ops)
- Zone Guardian Operations: Learn the principles and tactics used by Zone Guardians to maintain security and safety within designated areas. Interns will train in crisis management, tactical defense, and community relations, developing the skills necessary to protect civilians and respond to emergencies.
- Rescue Ranger Missions: Interns will be introduced to the techniques and strategies used in search and rescue operations. This includes navigating hazardous environments, providing emergency medical care, and coordinating evacuations in disaster zones or conflict areas.
- Frontline Tactical Training: Participate in simulated tactical scenarios designed to enhance decision-making, situational awareness, and leadership under pressure. This training will prepare interns for the challenges they may face in real-world operations.
3. Cross-Training with Other Divisions
- Integration with Cyber Ops and Dev Ops: Understand how advanced technologies and frontline operations are supported by cybersecurity and software development. Interns will explore the synergy between these divisions, learning how secure communication, data analysis, and software tools are critical to mission success.
- Collaboration with Psi Ops and Med Ops: Explore how psionic abilities and medical technologies are integrated into advanced and frontline operations. Interns will gain insights into how psychological resilience and health support are essential in high-stakes missions.
Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Tech Development Projects: Participate in the development of new cybernetic enhancements, CyberDecks, or other technological innovations. Interns will be involved in the entire process, from concept design to prototype testing and refinement.
- Frontline Operational Support: Engage in simulated or real-world operational scenarios, supporting Zone Guardians and Rescue Rangers in their missions. Interns will apply their training in tactical defense, crisis management, and rescue operations.
- Collaborative Strategy Sessions: Work with other interns and agency staff in strategy sessions focused on solving complex operational challenges. These sessions are designed to encourage creative problem-solving and strategic thinking.
- Project Presentations: At the conclusion of the program, interns will present their work to senior agency staff, demonstrating the skills, knowledge, and innovations they have developed during the internship.
Qualifications
- Previous Training or Experience: Completion of the Spring Basic Training and Summer Standard Training Internship Programs is recommended, or equivalent experience in related fields.
- Technical and Tactical Aptitude: A strong understanding of technology and a capability for hands-on work in tech development, combined with an interest in tactical operations and crisis management.
- Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions to complex technical and operational challenges.
- Teamwork and Leadership: A collaborative mindset and the ability to take on leadership roles in group projects and operational scenarios.
Learning Outcomes
- Advanced Technological Proficiency: Develop advanced skills in cyberware customization, CyberDeck engineering, and technological innovation, preparing interns for specialized roles in Tech Ops.
- Tactical and Operational Expertise: Gain hands-on experience in frontline operations, including crisis management, tactical defense, and search and rescue missions, preparing interns for roles in Hero Ops.
